Destination: Delhi - Mussoorie - Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Bhojbasa - Tapovan - Nandanvan - Rishikesh - Lakhiya - Usmanpur - Mardghat - Mirzapur - Allahabad - Varanasi

Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive at Delhi Airport you will be welcomed by our representatives in a traditional Indian manner. You will be escorted to a hotel where after relaxing for a while, you will be taken on a guided tour of Delhi, the capital city of India. The sightseeing trip includes visiting interesting places in both Old & New Delhi like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shanti Van, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Qutab Minar.

Day 02: Delhi - Mussoorie
You will be driven to Mussoorie en route Dehradun. Mussoorie is a popular hill station in India. Mussourie is a rising horseshoe shaped foothill with the Great Himalayas on one side and the unending plains on the other. If you visit the hill station during the winters you may enjoy snowfall. You will be accommodated at a hotel in Mussoourie.

Day 03: Mussoorie - Uttarkashi
You will be driven to Uttarkashi which is a Hindu pilgrimage, situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. Uttarkashi is famous for the alluring temples present on the bank of the River Bhagirathi. It is also famous for various bathing ghats which are famous for detoxifying the sins of human beings. You will be accommodated at a small hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 04: Uttarkashi - Gangotri
You will be driven to Gangotri which is the source place of the River Bhagirathi. En route Gangotri you will visit Gangnani which is a natural geyser known for its medicinal qualities. It's said that the water of this geyser can cure a number of diseases. Later, during the day, you will visit the Temple of Ganga to witness thousands of pilgrims worshipping the River Ganga. At the time of evening prayers the otherwise peaceful and serene valley of Gangotri echoes with chants, chiming of bells and conches. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel.

Day 05: Gangotri - Bhojbasa
Your trekking regimen starts today with trekking to Bhojbasa, which is situated 14 kms from Gangotri. The trek to Bhojbasa is an easy ascent. While trekking, you will witness the beauty and splendor of nature spread all over the Bhagirathi peaks. As you gradually trek towards Bhojbasa, you will see the peak of Shivling emerge in front of you. You will camp at Bhojbasa overnight.

Day 06: Bhojbas - Tapovan
The next trekking destination is Tapovan which is almost 4.5 kms away from Bhojbas. On your way to Tapovan, you will cross the Gaumukh glacier which is situated 4255 mts above the sea level. With an expanse of 24 kms in length, Gaumukh glacier forms the source of the holy river Ganga. After the glacier, it is a steep climb to Tapovan, which is a well-suited base camp for all mountaineers, as it is situated at the feet of many peaks. Overnight stay would be at a tent.

Day 07: Tapovan
After having a breakfast at the camp, the day is completely at your discern. You can enjoy the glorious view of Shivling, Meru, Bhagirathi, Kedar dome and various other peaks. Or you can even meet other mountaineers as most of the frequent mountaineers have a number of interesting stories and facts to share about their trips to these peaks; you might even get some interesting tips. You will be camping overnight.

Day 08: Tapovan - Nandanvan
You will be trekking to the next destination on your trekking regimen which is Nandanvan. While trekking to Nandanvan, you will cross the Gaumukh Glacier once again. From Nandanvan, you get a lucid view of various peaks such as Shivling and Meru. You will be camping at Nandanvan overnight.

Day 09: Nandanvan - Gangotri
This is the last day for trekking. You would be trekking the stretch from Nandanvan to Gangotri. Since the distance is of just 3 kms, it would be an easy and comfortable journey. You will be trekking on the right side of the mesmerizing Bhagirathi River. You will be staying overnight in a hotel.

Day 10: Gangotri - Uttarkashi
You will be driven back to Uttarkashi on day tenth. During your traveling back to Uttarkashi, you can still enjoy the view of winding Bhagirathi River. As you reach Uttarkashi our executive will escort you to a camp. You will be staying at a tent overnight.

Day 11: Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
After a night at Uttarkashi, you will be driven to Rishikesh which is situated 148 kms away from Uttarkashi. On your route to Rishikesh you will visit the place where the rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda merge together to form Ganga. You will be received by our executives at Rishikesh who will help you check-in to a hotel for your stay overnight.

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi - Allahabad
You will be driven to Delhi, the capital of India, which is situated 225 kms away from Rishikesh. As you reach Delhi, you will be escorted by our representative to a hotel where you can relax for a while. Later during the day you will be driven to the railway station from where you will be boarding a train to Allahabad. You will be in the train overnight.

Day 13: Allahabad
Allahabad is one of the pristine sacred cities in Hindu mythology and along with this it is also one of the oldest cities in India. Allahabad is considered sacred because it is located at the confluence of two holy rivers namely Ganga and Yamuna and one invisible or mythic Saraswati River. The confluence is called Sangam which attracts millions of tourists and pilgrims throughout the year who perform various religious ceremonies and rituals at the bank of rivers. You will be touring the city in afternoon and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 14: Allahabad - Lakhiya
After an early breakfast at the hotel you will be taken to the banks of river from where you will start sailing towards Sangam. You will visit the point where the two rivers actually merge. The difference of color in the water merging is clear and spectacular to look at. The merging point is distinctly visible. Later you will be taken to Lakhiya Village where you will be camping overnight.

Day 15: Lakhiya - Usmanpur
After the breakfast at the camping site you will continue sailing downstream. After sailing for quite a while, you will reach the village Usmanpur. You can visit the village to know more about the life of the villagers who live by the River Ganga. You will be camping at the village overnight.

Day 16: Usmanpur - Mardghat
After having breakfast in the morning you will continue sailing on the river towards the next destination which is the village Mardghat. You will be visiting the village so that you can get acquainted to the culture and traditions of this particular village. You will camp overnight in the village.

Day 17: Mardghat - Mirzapur
After an early morning breakfast at the camp site you will sail further downstream to visit a number of interesting places such as Vindhayachal Temple, Chunnar Garh Fort and a nearby village to experience rural India life. Later, you will sail towards Mirzapur which is famous for its handmade carpets. You will be camping overnight in a tent.

Day 18: Mirzapur - Varanasi
You will be visiting the carpet factory early in the morning so that you can get a hint of the process by which carpets are spun and crafted. Afterwards you will sail further to Varanasi. As you reach Varanasi you will be visiting the Sarnath Temple which is the place where Buddha preached for the first time after gaining enlightenment. You will stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 19: Varanasi - Delhi
You will be taken on a guided tour of the city and the ghats in the morning. Varanasi is famous for the bathing ghats as Ganga is considered holiest of all Indian rivers and it is said that a dip in the Holy River purges one of all his sins. Later during the day you will be driven to the airport from where you will be boarding a flight to Delhi. As you reach Delhi you will be escorted by our representatives to a hotel where you will stay overnight.

Day 20: Delhi
You will be escorted by our representatives to Indira Gandhi International Airport from where you will board flights to your respective destinations.
