Destination: Delhi - Leh - Spituk - Zinchen - Yurutse - Ganda La - Shingo - Skiu - Markha - Hankar - Nimaling - Sumdo - Hemis - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi
Duration: 17 Days/16 Nights

Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive at the Delhi IGI Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives in a traditional Indian manner, who, in turn, would also help you with airport formalities. You will be taken to a hotel where after settling the luggage and relaxing for a while, you will be taken on a sightseeing trip of Delhi, during which you will visit architectural wonders such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Day 02: Delhi - Leh
In the morning, you will be driven to the airport from where you will board a flight to Leh. As soon as you will arrive at Leh, our representative will receive you and escort you to the hotel. Since there is nothing much planned for the day, you can rest. A small walk at the afternoon would be a great way to get the feel of the place and also get accustomed to the high altitude. You will be spending the night at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh
This day is reserved for an explicit sightseeing tour of Leh which includes visiting all popular monasteries in Leh such as Tikse, Shey, Spituk and Phyang. All these monasteries are masterpieces of art and architecture. Later in the day, you will be visiting the Royal Stok Palace which is famous for its palace gardens and architectural beauty. You will be staying at the hotel overnight.

Day 04: Leh - Spituk - Zinchen
After having a carbohydrate-rich breakfast, you will be driven 10 kms from the hotel to Spituk, from where you start your trekking regimen. You will cross the Indus River to enter into a valley formed by Zinchen River. There is a peaceful village in the valley, so near the village would be the first camping site. You will be staying in a tent overnight.

Day 05: Zinchen - Yurutse
After having breakfast in the morning you will be trekking from the previous destination. i.e. Zinchen to Rumbak village, where you can relax for a while before trekking to the next destination. You will cross a small mountain stream and trek for a while to reach the next destination Yurutse, which is a small village. You will be camping two kilometers further from the village.

Day 06: Yurutse - Ganda La - Shingo
This morning, you will start trekking towards the first Pass of the tour. After starting the trekking regimen in a while, you will reach the beautiful and enticing Ganda La Pass. From here you can view the entire Zanskar range and Valley. From here on you start trekking downhill. After trekking downhill for a while, you will pass a small hamlet to reach the next camping site. You will be staying at a tent overnight.

Day 07: Shingo - Skiu
After witnessing a beautiful sunrise from the camp site, you will continue your trekking routine. You will be trekking continuously for quite some time as the next destination is quite far and the trek to reach the destination is quite rugged. After quite a while, you will reach Skiu village, which is a small dwelling at the bank of Markha River. You will be camping at this site overnight.

Day 08: Skiu - Markha
After having breakfast at the camping site you will trek forward along the river Markha, which is a slow mountain river. Trekking along the river side you will witness the untouched beauty and splendor of Leh. You would have to cross the river at times as the banks become difficult for trekking. While trekking, you will also see beautiful chortens. You will be camping along the river Markha at night.

Day 09: Markha - Hankar
You will be trekking towards village Hankar, which is the highest human dwelling in Markha Valley; it is also the last village before Nimaling plateau. You will witness the lofty mountains and splendid valleys all around you. From thereon, you would move further towards Hankar Village. At this juncture, it would seem as if the Mt. Kang Yatze is gradually rising in front of you. You will be camping at village Hankar for the overnight.

Day 10: Hankar - Nimaling
You will have your breakfast at Hankar Village after which you will get back to your trekking regimen, but will no longer continue on the path along the banks of river Markha. Instead you will ascend gradually towards vast Nimaling Plateau, presided by the magnificent Mt Kang Yatze snow mountain.

Day 11: Nimaling - Sumdo
You will be trekking to the highest point on trekking regimen, Kongmaru La which is situated 5150 mts above the sea level. After relaxing for a while here, you will climb downhill taking a steep path to a gorge from where you will enter into the valley. The valley will open up slowly in front of you, as you gradually trek towards Zanskar Sumdo. You will camp at Zanskar Sumdo overnight.

Day 12: Sumdo - Hemis
Day twelve would mark the end of the trekking expedition. After the breakfast at Zanskar Sumdo, you will start trekking towards Hemis Monastery where the trekking regimen ends. Hemis is the most important monastery of Ladakh. 360 years old, it was established by Lama Tagstang Raspa and built by Palden Sara under the patronage of King Sengge Namgyal. Hemis Gompa is famous because the gigantic Tankha, one of the largest in the world, is displayed once in 12 years.

Day 13: Leh - Delhi
After trekking the highest plateau in India and witnessing the heavenly peaks of Leh, you will be taken to the airport from where you will board a flight to Delhi. As soon as you reach Delhi you will be received by our executives who will help you in checking-in to a hotel where you can relax and enjoy your leisure time or if you want you can visit the nearby markets for shopping. You will be staying at the hotel overnight.

Day 14: Delhi - Agra
This day is reserved for exploring the City of Taj, Agra. You will be driven 210 kms from Delhi to Agra and on your way to Agra you will be visiting the tranquil Sikandara Fort, which is the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Later, you will be visiting The Taj Mahal which till now stands as a symbol of eternal love on the banks of River Yamuna. After Taj you will be taken to other places of tourist interest in Agra including Itmad Ud Daula's Tomb.

Day 15: Agra - Jaipur
From Agra you will travel to Jaipur which is 240 kms away from Agra. While on your way to Jaipur, you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri, which is popularly known as the Haunted City. Once serving as Akbar's capital, it was deserted by him later on. As you reach Jaipur, you will be accommodated at a hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 16: Jaipur
The day is reserved for sightseeing. You will be visiting a number of interesting places namely the City Palace which is an architectural wonder in itself, the Observatory popularly known as Jantar Mantar, Wind Palace etc. But the cherry on the cake will be the excursion to Amber Fort as you will be visiting the same on the back of a beautifully adorned elephant, in the real Maharaja style. You will be brought back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 17: Jaipur - Delhi
You will be driven back to Delhi which is a 260 kms journey. As you reach Delhi our representatives will receive you and will drive you to the International Airport, from where you will board a flight to your respective destination.
